Blissful home in Denmark

This home has been awarded 'the most wonderful home' in Denmark
and we're not surprised!

We are LOVING the charcoal washed timber against the stark white walls and floors... such beautiful contrast.

The most amazing quality of this house (in our opinion) is the airiness of it - white french doors, panelled windows and skylight are a great way of allowing natural light to fill the rooms in your home and can also make your house look and feel a lot bigger than it actually is - absolutely beautiful. We would have liked to see a lime washed floor to complete the look but hey, we're not picky!

Great home reno inspiration for anyone out there who is looking for a simple way to make their home more open and light filled.

Whenever in doubt there's nothing like a splash of white paint, loads of windows, glass doors and a charcoal contrast.

Beautiful, easy and effective!

Restored Meditteranean Farm House

This beautiful old farm house was built in the 18th century and has recently been restored to blend the past and the present. Located in a beautiful wine region north of Barcelona in Mediterranean, Spain this home is a strong mix of vintage, industrial and contemporary design.

We love that each part of this house looks like a piece of art, from the stone walls to the timber beamed ceilings the designer has kept the as much of the original materials as possible.

Contrasting textures and styles are what makes this home
so unique and beautiful.

Clay, stone, wood and cement have been incorporated into the existing structure to help preserve what was already there. A mixture of industrial and contemporary furnishings such as the modrian-esque chairs evoke a modern vibe while the rustic finishes such as the walls, that resemble a sheet of tea stained watercolour paper, enhance this homes sense of history.

Not to mention the lavender garden...

Perfection.

: Eclectic Spanish Holiday House :

Located a few steps from Madrid, this house is situated in Spains Retiro Park.

It is a beautiful eclectic mix of flea market finds coupled with classic style and amazing vision.

Mixing styles creates this retro-chic style, where eclecticism becomes a conductive thread between spaces. Solid wood, chairs metal, aged leather, methacrylate and crystal dominate equally in interior design. A passion for furniture and objects of the past is evident, where even new furnishings were chosen with an antiqued finish.

Our favourite room is the dining room; where metal chairs are combined with a white washed rustic dining table and an amazing collection of art deco mirrors grace the feature wall.

If you're thinking you would love to live in a place like this... you can!
